Now, this is really something.

By the way, I'm reporting from Washington where the main roads have been cleared, but many curbs,

driveways, and cars coated with a thick sheet of nearly unbreakable ice after the storm that left all of five inches

here in the nation's capital.

But ice is a real problem.

And then, you know, the cold temperatures are predicted for the next week.

I'm sure many cities have it worse.

But we are in the ice age and we are in the next week. I'm sure many cities have it worse, but we are in the ice age,

and we are in the ice age in terms of the overwhelming story of the day. And that's why I say this is really rich. I'm throwing out the buzzers today because I've got to get to a taping for the video podcast that we now do

once a week. So this is sort of the on the run edition. Everybody now running from the political

and human disaster that keeps taking place in Minneapolis. And when I say everybody,

White House Step Beach, Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, the hardest of the hardliners when

it comes to deportation, the driving force behind harsh policies to round up and gather as many, quote, illegal immigrants

as possible.

I say, quote, because some of them entered the country illegally, but have been here for,

you know, 20, 25 years and don't have a criminal record.

Others do. And then, of course,

there are the twin tragedies of the two Americans that have been shot, increasingly obvious that

that was in both cases, but particularly in the case of Alex Prattie and earlier Renee Good,
