I discovered yesterday that there is a site called Pissed Off Consumer.

And aren't we all pissed off consumers at one time or another?

I was trying to get in touch with a company.

Two customer service phone numbers were listed.

And they just rang and rang and rang.

No voicemail, no tape message, no, nothing.

And then somehow pissed off consumer said it could get the message to this particular outfit.

So I said, why not?

And I got a response.

I think you should need a pissed off consumer site because, you know, companies don't spend enough money so that your wait time is

estimated at 47 minutes, you know, they just don't staff it and figure maybe half the people

just give up and go away. Anyway, for those who are

worried that the government will shut down at midnight Friday, looks like President Trump and

Chuck Schumer, who've known each other as New Yorkers and battled as New Yorkers for a long time,

are trying to find an exit ramp here, pulling out from the overall

legislative package, the funding for Homeland Security, passing the other bills, and then

doing a sort of a stopgap, kick-the-can kind of thing toward a Homeland Security bill that would

include some of the restrictions that Democrats are

demanding, such as that ICE agents take off their masks, where body cameras, and halt random

sweeps. So that brings me to story number one. Two Border Patrol officers who were involved

in the shooting death of Alex Prattie have been placed on administrative leave.
