0:49.5	Today, we've got a special treat. I'm going to be reflecting upon a passage in the Book of Acts,
0:55.3	chapter 17, famously known as Paul's Ariopagus address. But I'd like to share with you
1:01.8	something that I wrote last year as an introduction to a book that was published in 2020
1:07.7	by Ave Maria Press.
1:18.0	Ave Maria was privileged and excited to be the publishers of eight different talks that had been discovered in Poland, catechetical lectures that had been given by Archbishop
1:24.1	Carol Voitia shortly before he moved to Rome to become Pope John Paul II.
1:30.5	These catechetical lectures that he gave on Acts 17 and Paul's sermon at the Areopagus in Athens
1:37.6	are amazing. And I was asked to write an introduction as a kind of background. And so I was able to share something that I found in working on the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible several years ago.
1:52.7	And I'd like to provide a little bit of background from the essay for what Paul is doing in Acts 17.
2:01.6	The article that I published as an introduction to that book is entitled,
