Why pray for someone's salvation if God is sovereign?

And of course, the simple answer is God uses missions and evangelism

to bring about what he ordains to bring about.

It's just there.

And this book attempts to show that the criticism of a full-orbed biblical warm-hearted

evangelical calvinism with a small c because the bible has a big b and calvin's not the authority

he just happened to think these thoughts in a systematic way. The issue of saying that to believe that kind of doctrine

makes you non-evangelistic or non-missions-oriented

is just contradicted by many, many, many, many, many missionaries

and many great evangelists, including Packer.
