Do you want to hear God?

Do you want to hear the voice of God?

Is there a longing in your heart to hear God?

Let me ask it another way.

Are you like me sometimes in becoming very discouraged or frustrated or even angry,

almost to the point where you say, God, if you would just speak,

if you would just stand forth and say a word, if I could just hear your voice.

You ever get to that point?

Have you ever wished that God would speak to you directly?

I want to ask you a question or have you ask a question as we begin namely do you want to hear God do you want to hear the voice of God is there a longing in your heart to hear God? Let me ask it another way.

Are you like me sometimes in becoming very discouraged or frustrated or even angry, almost to the point where you say, God, if you would just speak,

You ever get to that point?

I do.

And when I do, the Lord has repeatedly for me, gently, and mercifully given me appropriate rebukes.

One of which is found in verses one and two of this text.

God, after he spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways in these last days has spoken to us and by the way
