1:04.0	According to the latest Politico poll of polls, this election could see a pretty big shift to the political right in many European
1:12.1	countries and ultimately in the European Parliament. So what happens between now and then?
1:18.6	Well, for starters, the political parties on the European level have been holding conferences,
1:22.9	selecting their top candidates who will represent them in this campaign. Just last weekend, the European left party met in Lubiana, where they chose the Austrian
1:31.1	Volter Bayer to be their lead candidate.
1:34.3	And this weekend, the European socialists are off to Rome to noit their spits in Canada,
1:38.9	Nikola Schmidt.
1:40.2	So he's the EU's current commissioner for jobs and social rights.
1:44.6	And that means that he's going to be facing off against his boss, the current commission
1:49.4	president Ursula von der Leyen.
