within these last days, the general of the Ukrainian army has said it's a stalemate on the front lines.

The president of Ukraine has said, no it's not not we're going to win. We're told

gossip the counselors of the president of Ukraine have said that Mr. Zelensky is

delusional to think that he can regain Donbass and Crimea with the forces that he have.

Remember Russia is much, much larger, has a deep industrial base, and many more people can come to the front lines in Ukraine, which has sacrificed

mightily these last 18 months and may not have much more.

The former General Secretary of NATO, Mr. Rasmussen, has said in the media within these last days

that it is wise to go forward with Ukraine recognizing that Russia will not be dislodged from Donbass, eastern Ukraine,

and Crimea.

That it is recommended, says Mr. Rasmussen, to make a deal on the basis of what you have right now where the front lines are,

and that NATO offer immediate membership to Ukraine to protect it from Russia being more aggressive

and that negotiations include a ceasefire and armistice and a

demilitarizing of the front line.
