If you would turn in the scriptures to John, gospel account of John and the third chapter,

John 3 and verse 3, John 3 and 3, we've been on a subject for some weeks now

that we're calling eternal life.

Eternal life.

And we want to continue with that today.

In our text here in verse 3, John 3 3 3,

Jesus said verily, verily I say to you,

except a man be born again.

He cannot see the kingdom of God.

Now this could also be translated, born from above.

Born again, born from above.

Look up the words and the phrases, not just in this verse,

but these, you know, four or five verses through here.

You'll see what I'm talking about.

He's contrasting natural and spiritual. He's contrasting natural and spiritual.

He's contrasting above and below.

There is a natural birth, there is a spiritual birth.

There is a birth from below.

There is a birth from above.

So he said, except a man be born again, that also is

referring to born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of

God.
