You know what? That's a lovely intro, but you forgot one very important fact. The man who

picked the Flyers and six, baby, over the Pittsburgh penguins in the first round one of only like three people i think it was on ESPN who had the the knowledge and dare i say the audacity uh of hope to pick the flyers over the penguins in the first round we were trying to figure out how many people on ESPN picked the flyers to win.

I knew it was only a handful and I knew you were one of them,

which is why you come on this show as an ally, not an enemy of the Philadelphia Flyers,

notoriously reasonable and rational fan base.

Despite being a Devils fan, we still very much appreciate you, wish.

Yeah, no, I mean, you know, as a Devils fan, I've come to certain realizations over time

that it sometimes makes me even more angry to see a team that I am predisposed to dislike become one that I begrudgingly do enjoy.

And, you know, watching the way that the Flyers beat the Penguins, there's a discernible joy in that, you know, whether it's the rough stuff that we saw earlier in the series or, you know,

watching guys like Zegra skate around or watching Martone or, you know, Vlodar.

I mean, like, there's a lot of things about the flyers that I find appealing and I'm happy

that I get to continue watching in the playoffs.

And quite frankly, like, you know, being in the building for game three and and being in

that atmosphere where you know the delightful people of philadelphia are chanting profane names

to sidney crosbie an hour before puck drop like you kind of get up get caught up in the infectious

nature of it all.

Um, and not just because I got to see gritty throw the lifeless body of a penguin's

mask out off the balcony twice.

Just a truly violent and disgusting act that I think we should all personally condemn quite

honestly, but obviously, no, I, I just would like to retract all the things I've said over the last 25 years about
