Yeah, my pleasure.

Well, Eric, so obviously, you know, we've been, we've been friends for a while.

We at one time were, I guess one could say colleagues, I was not a full-time or

abroad street hockey when you were writing for the site.

But you are the general manager of the team that the Philadelphia Flyers will be facing

in this second round playoff series.

I don't really want to talk too much about the series.

I want to talk about the

connection here because while the longstanding viewers of the show who date back to Broad

Street Hockey Radio from the mid-2010s, they know the connection with Eric Tulski and

Broadstreet Hockey, the connection with Eric Tulski and Philadelphia, but not all of our viewers and listeners do. So, Eric, if you wouldn't mind, you know,

kind of give us the backstory on how you got into the analytics world, how you got connected

with Broad Street Hockey, and how that took you to, you know to getting a job with the carolina

hurricanes and you don't have to go through the entire way of how you became general manager

but i'm just kind of curious as to you know if you can go into a little quick breakdown of how

that all happened yeah so back in uh 2009 2010 something like that um I stumbled across the blog and, you know, got

into the comments section a little bit here and there and wrote up a fan post or two.

And then Travis Hughes approached me and said, Eric, I think you could be a general manager someday.
