It's easy to stay sober for 45 years, just go to meetings and don't die.

I mean after all I'm amazed at myself, I'm still floating around here, I'm 82 and I am mad

because I don't feel good all the time.

I was telling George and I worked all the years, I think I've been punished for my pride

because I realized now I was always very prideful about my ability to have so much energy

and I was always really everybody else out and they say, I'm tired, let's go sit down

and say, what are you talking about, child, let's go on, let's go, you know, a new

arrogant about it, I do think, I do believe and I think I'm being punished for it.

The essence of catch up with you is I've got to go on working on some of those shortcomings

and impatience is one of them being too critical is another, or I like that one, I work

on the impatience for now.

My name is Eve and I'm an alcoholic.

I'm real happy to be here.

But just saying I'm an alcoholic doesn't say it all, you know, it doesn't when we're

an AA.

I can say I'm an alcoholic, I'm a happy, joyous and free alcohol.

But maybe that doesn't really say it all either because I really should say I am a happy
