Good evening everybody, my name is David, I'm an alcoholic and I want to thank the committee

and for inviting Susan and I to celebrate and to share with your conference.

I guess this is the 12th year and congratulations on that.

I hope I never get it in my mind that somehow I have a right to anything that goes on around

here, that because I got sober that somehow I deserve what happens here.

I've been taught in alcoholics anonymous that it's a privilege to be able to participate

and so I appreciate the fact that you've allowed my wife and I to participate in your

conference and up here in God's country, so I want to thank Cindy and Dan for picking

us up at the airport.

My wife and I have been kind of on the run so we've been up early and to bed late the

last several days and they picked us up and they took us to dinner and I swear they

must have thought they picked up a wet one because I'm like in the back seat.

So yeah, it was not the lively art of conversation going on in that van, it was like in between

catnaps, huh?

Oh, good job Dan.

I do want to say though but thank you very much, it shows a lot, you drive two hours

to pick some speakers up and you drive two hours back and you know you spend a good
