All right, my nerves are shot now.

My name's Serena, I'm an alcoholic.

Thank you so much. Thank you, Ken. That was awesome. It was great and you dressed up way more than I did.

And there's a couple of rules that I heard about that.

I have to tell you that my children are here tonight at least the ones I know about and

they're here to keep me in check you know so and they've heard my story so they know

the deal but unfortunately parts of my story are going to be difficult because I can't swear and so I hope your girls can we can do it afterwards in the parking lot we can can swear it up, but during the meeting I got to keep it clean.

So my recovery began September 27th, 1997. I don't really call it my sobriety date better I don't call it my sobriety date because I've tried

to get sober a couple of times and for me being sober was just living with the

absence of alcohol in my life and recovery has been learning to live life on life's

terms even though Alan hates that expression I expression I think, trying to live life

on life's terms without using alcohol as my solution.

So a little bit about me, my causes and conditions. I am the first born American in my family.

My parents are Irish.
