I am a recovered alcoholic.

I've been sober since March 3rd 2004 and as was said my home group is the primary

purpose group of Webster New York we call it PPG because there's another one in Rochester. We don't like to be mixed up.

It is a great meeting. It is on Zoom. It is on Sunday mornings at 9.30, we are a big book study group. We go through the book line by line and we go by a study guide that virtually has a question for every line that's in the big book.

And then we open it up every paragraph or two for sharing on what the founders are trying to say to us, what the directions are, and how

we are to follow those directions to find a power greater than ourselves in order to stay sober.

We are different from other meetings where we don't talk about our experience too much.

Although we do believe that experience

is the lifeblood of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Our group does feel that going through those directions is extremely important.
