I'm Angie and I am an alcoholic.

I'd like to thank the committee for inviting me here and Danny for picking me up at the airport

and my daughter Lorraine for coming over with me to keep me honest.

It may come as a surprise to you as it's come to me but I'm not perfect.

I threw a slight fit earlier in the week because of the trip that I was going to take here

from Fresno and I wasn't going to tell you but my sponsor who is my new conscience told

me to tell you that I sometimes don't act quite the way I ought to and one of the reasons

is because I'm not in any danger of getting well.

I stand before you with longevity and sobriety because I didn't die and I didn't drink

and I survived and that's the only thing that I really have gone for me.

I like to start out by telling you that I am very, very grateful to be a member of

Oracle Holic Synonymous and when I tell you that I'm grateful it's not just words.

I believe that in order to be grateful for myself I stand up and be counted as a member

of Oracle Holic Synonymous.

I am from life and you know that you got to be sincere if you come from life.

However, my motive for moving to life was of the most outstanding and the reason I am

in life is because some of us will go to any lengths to be married and I am one of those.
