My name is Al and I'm an alcoholic in the attic, and I'm powerless over every day.

I kind of feel like that I've been in a hatchet fight and everybody had one with me right

now.

It's good for me to be here.

I would like to take Walter and the boy of the Robinson House for inviting me over to

share in this benefit which I've noticed to see the gentleman stand up with one year,

one day at a time.

I never know what I'm going to say when I'm asked to speak, or I never know what I'm going

to say when I raise my hand in a meeting to share, but when I say I'm an alcoholic in

a hatchet, and I'm powerless over everything, and I have a feeling illus, that I sense that

primarily for myself, because I don't want to ever forget one thing that I think is

very important that I've learned.

Knowledge alone will not keep me so, I've always had a lot of knowledge.

All of us in this room has got a lot of knowledge.

We've very bright, we've very intelligent, and maybe that's why we all are here together.

But see, the book tells me that it was one thing that was always lacking.

The lack of power was not the lack of knowledge, I didn't have the power, and I'm here tonight
