Have you ever wondered how crocodiles and alligators managed to outlive the dinosaurs?

0:26.5

Well, here's how they did it.

0:30.2

Long ago, during the Mesozoic era, there lived two clans of awe-inspiring creatures.

0:38.0

There were the Sarko-Sukis, the Supercrox, and the Dynosukis, the Gatorroids.

0:45.2

These gigantic beasts are the ancestors of our current day crocodiles and alligators.

0:52.2

Towards the end of what we now know as the Cotaceous period,

0:56.7

the Supercrox became aware of a cataclysmic event that would wipe out life on the planet.

1:03.9

They didn't know exactly how it was going to happen, but they knew that it would be happening soon.

and eventually their rocket was ready. The Supercrox and Gatorroids gathered everything they thought

1:40.5

they might need to support their clans in space and blast it off. Their trajectory was a

1:46.8

little wonky, however, and instead of heading out into deep space to find a new planet to rebuild

1:54.4

their civilization, their rocket flew straight toward the Moon. They landed on the Moon,

2:01.8

and that was when the arguments began. The Gatorroids blamed the Supercrox for landing them on the Moon

2:09.7

as they had been in charge of the trajectory mechanics. The Supercrox said it was the Gatorroids fault

2:16.3

as they had been in charge of packing the cargo hold. They hadn't packed it correctly,

2:21.8

and that was what had thrown their trajectory off course. In the end, the two clans parted ways.
