Regi Lorenzo never gets bored.

Here are some things he does when his mom says, Regi finds something to do.

Number one, build a rocket out of a toilet paper tube and his mom's hair clip.

Number two, write letters to all the neighborhood pets and deliver them.

Freckles the tabby cat seem to really like Regi's poems.

Number three, make an obstacle course out of every random thing he can find in the yard.

His roller skates, the kitty pool, a bunch of leaves, you get the picture.

Number four, create shoes out of leftover ribbon and some cardboard boxes and then go

on a walk to show them to the neighborhood pets.

Number five, invent something new.

Regi has to make his own fun after school because his mom is usually in her office, which

is really just the closet in his parents bedroom.

She cleaned it out, put up some wallpaper and then squeezed a desk in there.

After school, Regi and his mom have tea and toast and then she always says time to

get cracking.

But he always makes a cracking noise and then they both laugh.

His mom goes into her office and hangs up her sign on the door that says work in progress.

The sign has a picture of her sitting in a bulldozer with a heart hat on.

She's an artist.

Regi's other mom whom he calls Mimi works a lot too because she's a doctor and has a

lot of children to help with her clinic.
