A light drizzle of rain shimmered down as lila peaked under a bush in her backyard in

search of an Easter Egg.

She gazed up towards the sky to watch the rainfall and she saw a beautiful rainbow

forming.

Her mom always says that when you see a rainbow you make a wish.

Lila squeezed her eyes shut tight and wished upon the rainbow.

As she opened her eyes she saw three of her cousins dash by racing to scoop up more

Easter eggs.

Lila decided to head the opposite direction so she didn't get run over in the hustle.

She headed to her favorite reading spot in the backyard.

The old wooden swing beside the garden.

Lila hoped to find some Easter eggs hidden there.

She lifted up the comfy swing pillows to check behind them.

And there she found the most magnificent egg she had ever seen.

The egg was rainbow colored and it sparkled like a diamond.

Lila had to hold the egg with both hands because it was the size of a rugby ball.

Way bigger than any of the other eggs she had discovered today.

She shouted for her mom to come look at her discovery.

Soon her whole family gathered around to gaze at the interesting rainbow egg.

No one knew where the egg had come from.

"'Must be a surprise egg from the Easter Bunny,' said Mom.
