Okay, so to kick things off, a little bit about us, Martin, just, you know, give us a brief

synopsis of your running history.

I started running when I was seven or eight.

I've been running for about 30 years.

I ran at school.

We did some cross country, some track.

I went to the English schools. I progressed up through the age group ranks in a very traditional way.

So you're quite competitive then from an early age?

Yes, yeah, I was very performance focused.
