Summary

Daniel had the most incredible career imaginable; he was transported as a teenage captive to a pagan empire and became the primary confidante to the ruler of Babylon. When Babylonia was taken over by its enemies, he rose to the second or third position in the Persian Empire. There are only two people in the Bible other than Jesus Christ of which no evil is spoken, Joseph and Daniel. The book of Daniel is in two halves: the first six chapters are historical, which deal with the adventures and career of this remarkable man. The second six chapters are some of the most pivotal and important prophecies of the entire Bible. Without a clear understanding of the book of Daniel you will not understand the times in which we live. This study contains 16 hours of verse by verse teachings. A cherub is a singular, cherubim is plural. These are the super angels. We only know of really four of them. One of them, I shouldn't say that, we know

0:56.8

a couple others, but there's four around the throne of God that's very visible, several

1:00.5

places in the scripture, in Ezekiel 1 and 10 and Isaiah 6 and elsewhere. Most people assume

1:05.2

the seraphim and the cherubim are functionally equivalent. Maybe not, maybe there's

1:10.3

different. That's neither here

1:11.2

or there. There was a cherub that was put in charge of guarding the way to the tree of

1:17.7

life in the Garden of Eden. And most people visualized that because of the Society School

1:23.4

Coloring books, but that cherub was there to keep Adam and Eve from going back in the

1:27.9

garden. Why? Because in the back of the garden, they would have been immortal in their

1:32.7

sinful state. They would have denied them redemption. But there's another white, it didn't

1:37.6

take a cherub to do that. A normal angel might have been enough. He's guarding the way to the tree of life.

1:47.4

Who is he guarding it against another cherub?

1:53.5

This cherub, thou art the anointed cherub that covereth.

1:57.6

That's an old English expression, the way it's contrived there. Anointed means

2:01.9

he's appointed, given the mandate, to do what? To covereth, he's in charge of everything. Apparently,

2:10.2

Lucifer, or Satan as he's now called, was in charge of everything until he got on a pride trip.
