Tom, did you have a tough workout at the weekend?

Well I have been great north running and park running in the same weekend so yeah I did

two runs Saturday and Sunday racing both days it was a it was a load of fun. It was the first time I'd done Newcastle Park Run ever ever ever and it was my 50th Park Run so I was really really proud to join the Park Run 50 Club

and Ian Curley and all the guys and girls at New Castle Park Run did a fantastic job.

It's a great course. It's a one laper which we don't have that many of.

And it was great, really open, I think on the right day it would be quite fast.

The wind wasn't quite right and my legs and lungs weren't quite right either.

But yeah, it was good. And then on Sunday headed off to the Great North Run.

And you know, whatever people think about the Great North Run and there's a load of people and

and South Shields is quite small so the logistics are a little bit difficult and it can be a

little bit you know and is a little bit expensive but at the same time when you've

got 50,000 people all running in the same direction. It's an awesome experience.

It was really good. I wasn't feeling fantastic and I'm kind of coming back to

fitness as it were. I figured I could probably if I'd really gone for it runs somewhere
