And we are three weeks away from the launch of our new book The Great Sex Rescue. We actually have copies now.

We do, we have the physical copies. It's so much fun to be able to actually feel this and know it's a real book.

It is and every week leading up to the release

we are looking at one of the faulty teachings that we found when we looked into the

evangelical bestsellers and when we surveyed 20,000 women we identified certain

key beliefs that really wreck sex and marriage for women and this week we

want to talk about the obligation sex message. Yes, the women are obligated to have sex when their husband wants it and for our new research segment we're going to get right to the research to start this

podcast when we surveyed women what we found is that 43% of women report being

taught the obligation sex message before they were married. Yeah.

So this really impacted women as they go into marriage.

43% of women report being taught this in church or in their family

that a wife is obligated to give her husband sex.

Yeah, and 39% of women agree that they believed it before they were married.

So the vast majority who were taught it also believed it.

Only 4% who were taught reported not believing. Now interestingly about half that
