He is a well-known physical therapist.

He's the founder of the Mobo Board and the author of the book Running ReWired. Re-Invent your

run for stability, strength, and speed. I have recently been diving deep into his book and

also been utilizing the mobo board every

single day. Jay is a humble and very kind human and he really does have deep desires to help

runners feel better, run stronger. I felt so fortunate to be able to have this conversation

with him and learn from him. He's a faculty member at Oregon State University. He's a researcher,

a coach, and has spent years researching how we can build our bodies to be their strongest

selves on the run. Jay built his international reputation

as an expert in biomechanical analysis as director of the speed clinic at the University of

Virginia and as director of an independent lab in Oregon. He blurs the lines between clinical

practice coaching and engineering

to solve injury problems and optimize performance. He consults and teaches with numerous footwear
