Welcome to the hardwood hustle. Sam and I today are going to talk offense, specifically the things that aren't talked about enough, but are really important

to running a good offense. I would argue these things might be more important than actually

picking the right offense. One of the things I've experienced over my coaching career

is whether it's on offense, defense, special teams,

the best coaches I've ever coached against or learned from,

they were really good at these three things.

And these three are specific to offense.

But Sam, I want to dive into these three things.

Number one is clarity.

I think that the teams that have been the hardest to guard, they might have had decision

making, they might have had a motion offense, they might have done some things that

weren't always scripted, you know, like not running flex, but running, you know, motions.

So clarity, not exactly where I need to be.

But they always execute with great clarity.

Like it seems like they always know what they're trying to do,

what they're trying to accomplish.

And those teams to me have always been the hardest to guard.
