Welcome to the Hardwood Hustle. Sam and I here, and we're going to talk about something I think

would be really applicable to you as a coach. And there are four decisions that aren't the biggest

decisions, but could become really important decisions over the course of your season.

And these are the types of things that we talk

about as a staff in the offseason. And there is no definite answer to these, but they are

questions that you should think through and you should have an answer to before it's too late.

So we're going to dive right in. And again, they might seem minute, but they could be really big is most basketball

games if teams are you know equal or close it's going to come down to the little things and so

these are the decisions that when made early and executed well can be the difference in winning and

losing and there's a ton of them there's probably a hundred of these decisions but we're just

going to talk about four sam let's jump into the first one. Who should inbound the ball? And should the same person inbound the ball side out, inbound underneath, full court? How do you go about making a decision who should inbound the ball on your team? And again, no exact right answers, but I think it's helpful for you and how to talk

through this and what are we thinking and what's our process to make in this decision, which could

be different every year with every team. But why don't you kick us off? What do you think? Who should

inbound the basketball? Yeah, I think I'll start, DJ, with the different scenarios. And so you're going to have

baseline out of bounds. You're going to have side out of bounds. You're going to have full court

in bounds when you're on your other end at the basket you protect. Where that's off a made

basket, well, oftentimes off to a made basket, that could change if a team's pressing, or we're just running our transition offense getting it out.
