Welcome to the hardwood hustle. Sam and I here.

And today we're going to talk about what sounds like a really broad topic,

but we want to give you some specific things that you can do to actually build teamwork within your team. And so we're going to unpack this. I'm going to start with a couple of quotes here,

Sam. Some John Wooden quotes. The main ingredient of stardom is the rest of the team.

The star of the team is the team.

No player is bigger than the team.

Here's Phil Jackson.

Good teams become great ones when the members trust each other enough to surrender to me, surrender the me for the we.

Here's one from Coach K.

To me, teamwork is the beauty of our sport where you have five acting is

one you become selfless and so we've heard these quotes from all kinds of coaches and i just

rottled off a couple but you know teamwork makes the dream work and we could go on and on but it is

not as easy this day and time, I think.

And, you know, that's not an old school thing.

It's just harder.

There's just more things that have come along.

And I want to unpack a couple of things.

Like, why is it harder?

Because I think you first have to understand the problem.
