Jan Dutkiewicz is a fellow at Harvard Law School and is a political economist

who focuses on meat, including both animal-derived meat and alternative proteins.

He has so much to say about the politics of food and animals and the environment, as well

as where we are headed.

I hope we're headed somewhere better than where we are headed. I hope we're headed so we're

better than where we are now, Marian. Yeah, I think he thinks that we are. I do. And he's a pretty

cool guy and he definitely cares a lot about animals. So that's what counts in my book. And on this
