I'm joined by one-time marathon talk co-host and founder Tom Williams on this week's show.

We look back at the European Cross Country Championships and also a super speedy new vet 65 indoor 800 meter world record.

We've got an interview with Gary House that Holly Rush is doing and Tom's going to be explaining to me all about my Christmas presents. Isn't that right Tom? Yeah.

Good you know. Welcome back. I've been looking forward to this all day long. You'd asked me a little while ago actually I think and I've forgotten all about it and then I remembered this morning when I looked to my diary and I've been looking forward to it all day. Well it's been a while. It's been a while since we last recorded the show together.

Holly's been doing a sound job in your absence, but it's good to have you back.

We've chatted very briefly about Park Run,

since back end of 20, 20, was it? Oh I've got no idea, I've been on a couple of times

haven't I? I've got no idea when we last did this. And the world's moved on, baby, since that,

I think we're stuck in March 2020 on me. I'm particularly worried that

2022 sounds like 2022 too.

We'll try and talk about, we'll try and talk about running related things as because it is only forced leaps until, well we're recording, it's forced leaps until farther Christmas arrives. You have been doing some running, I must admit, I've been watching you, like

get leaner and fitter and faster as the years progressed, all built up to Yorkshire Marathon, didn't it?

Yeah, I was well chuffed with that, I have to say.
