Tom, what have you been doing this week?

Well, I've been National Cross Countrying.

Oh my lord, I forgot my bogs and or cool and obviously I didn't come in the right shoes.

I didn't have 10 inch spikes on my shoes.

My lord, that was a muddy one, wasn't it?

It was a proper, proper mud fest. It was your first

national though, did you enjoy it? Well I kind of enjoyed it. I have to say I was

over it a little bit. I learned a lot from it in terms of preparation and it was never a big deal for me I was never

bothered about how I did it was only ever really a training run and just an experience

because I've not done it before I'd quite like to go back one day and have a proper

go at it but it was just going to be a kind of

bit of fun but we got there really early so we could watch some of the juniors

run and all this kind of stuff and I made a really big mistake of wearing my

race kit and under my track suit admittedly but wearing my race kit and of course by the time the race came around I was so cold and my feet was so cold that it

I was over it to be honest by the time the race started my feet I couldn't feel my feet and I was ready to go home and that's never a good place to be
