Welcome to the hardwood hustle. Sam and I here. And we're going to talk about really kind of a

small particular issue here, but it's one we get questions about all the time and causes more

problems, more frustration, maybe more headaches than a lot of other issues in the game of

basketball. And this is a couple things.

One is how many people should you keep on the team?

What is the right amount of players to play?

Like a player rotation, is it seven?

Is it nine?

Is it 11?

How many players you should play?

And how do you determine who that is? You know, for some people have tryouts and um you know and how do you determine who that

is you know for some people have tryouts and you know how many we're going to keep we're going to

keep 10 12 14 whatever it might be and there's a lot of little nuances in here that don't seem

that relevant but actually are super relevant because at some point in the season um this affects

the team affects chemistry it affects chemistry. It affects,

a whole bunch of different things. And oftentimes we start out and we're like, well,

we play 10 or 12 players and then get to later in the season. We go down to seven or eight. And,

um, it, there's obviously a lot of different things that factor in here.

You know, age and stage.
