I am really excited to bring you a conversation with Emma Grace Hurley, who ran her half marathon debut at the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon. She ran a 6826. That is 514 pace for 13.1 miles. She runs with the Heartland

Track Club in Indianapolis. Yes, I know. Sorry, you're going to have to hear me geek out and

obsess over indie in this episode because I moved away from there three years ago and I'm still obsessed

with what a great city it is. And so knowing that they have their little team in Indy just makes me so

happy. So they are with the Heartland Track Club and that is with Andrew Bagley and Amy Yoder

Bagley. Emma Grace has had a really fantastic year. She's basically run the entire

USATF circuit in all the distances. She placed third at the 5K USATF champs in New York.

She ran that just a week before this half marathon debut. She was third place at the 10K championships this year, at the 6K championships this year.

She also represented the United States for the first time at the World Cross champs.

We didn't actually talk about that in this episode, but I want to direct you to the Relay podcast

because Mike Coe and I actually interviewed Emma Grace right after she ran

Oh my gosh, I forgot to mention, not only did she run 68, 26th in Indianapolis, she also set the
