My guest on today's podcast, joining me via Zoom, is an LDS author, Sean Moon.

Richard, I am thrilled to be with you and be able to meet your listeners.

Thank you very much for offering this opportunity.

And we've had a lot of LDS authors on the podcast, and I'm glad to do that, and so you can connect with their work.

I always want to do a good job of introducing my guests, so wherever you are, you get a feel for the podcast before we dive in.

Sean is a business executive in our community.

In his mid-50s, he's had 35 plus years of being a business executive.

He's written for the Wall Street Journal.

He speaks frequently, and he's written many books. This is not a book about business, but it's a leader, a church,

a leadership book with LDS principles. And I'll just give you an idea of the couple of the parts

of the book, and I think Sean will get into this, is part two is leadership in my

personal life. Part three is leadership in my family. And I've read chapter nine, which has

developed charity. I've read chapter 11, which is lead with empathy. And those two chapters are

worth buying the book just for those two chapters. And I plan to read the entire book. Part three is leadership

and my calling. So, and these are all gospel-based principles. So Sean has this gift of taking

church leader talks, scriptures and his own lived experiences because he isn't, this isn't just

theoretical. This is a practical application of Sean's lived experience in the business world and in other circles

to take gospel principles, much like Steve Covey.

You'd probably talk about Steve Covey and help bring these principles to life in those three circles that I just mentioned.
