0:20.1	About six years ago, when I stepped in the space of trying to better support LGBTQ Latter-D-D-Saints,
0:26.6	there were some people already in this space.
0:28.6	There were active LDS and saying kind things about gay people.
0:32.7	And Jody was one of those.
0:34.5	And I realized Jody's mentoring to me in this space and in my life has been
0:41.3	very helpful. There's others, but I recognize I could be a committed to Latter-day Saint and support
0:45.4	LGBTQ people. And so I'd like to publicly thank Jody for her good influence in my life
0:52.1	and the wonderful woman she is.
0:58.7	And this podcast, having her on the podcast is probably five years overdue.
1:04.1	Should have had her on the podcast multiple times, but I just kept getting this impression to reach out to Jody.
1:13.8	To have her tell part of her story, but also to talk about her father, Eugene England, who is somebody six years ago,
1:14.7	I didn't know.
1:21.4	And somebody that passed away in 2021, that's 20, 2001. 2001.
1:23.4	So that's 21 years ago.
1:25.5	And that's Jody's father.
1:27.2	A couple biographies have been written about him that have come out last year.
1:32.4	We're going to talk about those.
1:34.6	But he is just an incredible member of our faith community.
