Lauren, and will you tell us your last name?

I want to make sure I say it right.

Her again. Har again.

And will you pronounce, will you spell that for us?

H-A-R-R-R-I-G-I-A-N.

And Lauren is a transgender Latter-day Saint.

Who joined the church following illegal transition, following medical transition,

um, is obviously a woman, transgender woman. I'm going to use he, her, um, sorry about that,

her pronouns and, um, and, um, attends release society and is a woman.

But I just thought this would be a wonderful story for those that are trying to better minister to LGBT transgender Latter-day Saints, for those that are transgender,

for those that are trying to, that are in local leadership, trying to create space for

transgender Latter-day Saints.

And our joint prayer is the things that Lauren shares will be helpful.

It's a unique story, listeners.

We've done 500-plus podcasts, and this is the first time I've done somebody with a transgender

Latter-day Saint who has transitioned prior to joining the church and then was baptized

after transitioning

and obviously is on the records of the church as female, is legally a female, is transitioned
