0:16.0	And we've become friends and we've traded some emails and he's in our home today to share his story
0:22.4	about his good son, Terrick, who died by suicide in February of 2015 at the age of 17.
0:30.3	Troy also talks about in our email exchange, he's an active Latter-day Saint in his early 50s in

0:41.1	died by suicide, I'll read from his email to me, making a real recovery and healing from turning
0:46.4	to pornography as an unhealthy coping mechanism. So I think Troy's going to bravely share a little bit

0:55.5	I like the way he framed that as an unhelpting coping mechanism.
0:59.2	Often people I visit with don't say, what can I do to disappoint God?
1:03.2	I'm going to turn to pornography.
1:05.2	People dealing with really complex things use pornography sometimes, still a sin as a way to escape as a coping mechanism.
1:13.4	And it sounds like you've made great progress from healing from that.
1:16.7	So it takes a lot of courage to talk about that in a public forum.
1:19.6	But I think our joint prayer for you that if you're working on that road,
1:23.6	that the things Troy will share with you will help you.
1:27.1	Also, if you're a parent who's lost
1:28.8	someone, a family member, a child from suicide, that Troy's perspective and insights will help
1:35.4	you. Also, if you're someone that's suicidal, a youth or an adult, that Troy will have insights
1:41.4	will help you, give you a little more hope.
1:50.8	And our prayer is just that you will hear impressions and insights that help you in both of these spaces to support either yourself or people in your circle of influence.
