Summary

Cj Albertson had a great performance at the Boston Marathon this year running a personal best time of 2:09:53 and placing 7th. This was his highest place in Boston yet and his fourth time running the race. He was also the top American finisher just two months after finishing 5th at the US Olympic Marathon Trials.

CJ is known for his untraditional ways of training and shares all about how he prepares for marathons in this conversation. He is also the Dad of two young kids, teaches and is a coach at Clovis Community College. CJ runs for Brooks running professionally and shares about how you can work really hard at something but still not hold it so tightly. I love his perspective on training and racing!
