Let me remind all of you why we ran in 1994 and why the American people elected us and

what this is really all about.

After you get by all the eight-second sound bites in the 30-second commercials, what is

this really all about?

We said in 1994 that it was vital that we renew American civilization.

We said that American civilization is a unique and precious thing.

That more than any country in the history of the human race, we attract people from all

across the world of every background, of every ethnic group, and we guarantee them the right

to pursue happiness to self-government and to justice under the law.

That system is a learned civilization.
