wig. We've got an interview with one of the UK's top marathons 2 15 runner Andy Jones

Tony tells us how he's getting on we rant we rave and we winner of the week and in training talk we go over some of the stuff from last

week's fascinating interview with Professor Tim Nokes. Tom what have you been up to?

Well I've been having the most fun I've ever had in a race. We did the Escalard, me, my dad and

Hell's, we did the Escalard in Geneva on Saturday and it was just brilliant.

Honestly, next year everybody should do it.

I mean, I've never heard of this.

What made it so good?

Okay, it was 30,000 people doing it in total, and it was waves all day in age group.

There was also an elite wave, but it was age groups in general all the way through the

days. It was kind of spread out. So my wave was about 1,700 people, all blokes in their 30s.

So it was done by age and gender. And it was this amazing twisty turny course on cobbled streets through the old town in

Geneva. Really hilly, really windy, really fun. By the end it had got dark and they'd lit the

way with flaming torches, like you know proper flaming torches.

It was amazing.

And then at the start we were held back by like American footballers with a American football helmets on and the whole kit and everything like a big line of them and it was like really there was a real atmosphere and I was about I don't know I was about three rows from the front in this tiny little narrow street with

1700 people and there was like a rolling start and these American footballers

we were well before the line they started walking then they started jogging

then they started running and then as we crossed the line bang the gun went and it was like

running with the bulls in Pambalona or something and it was just it was a cross between
