And today we're going to answer a letter from somebody who is wondering if her friendship is salvageable.

experience that is love. All right friends let's get into you today's letter.

So this letter comes from Serena, whose pronouns are she, her,

who is writing from East Coast College Town, USA.

I am a 31-year-old woman living on the East Coast and I am coping with the loss of

both of my parents who died seven months apart two and a half years ago. I'm writing

because I'm considering ending my friendship with one of my

closest and oldest friends of over 15 years. Let's call her Brooke. Brooke and I have

been extremely close friends since middle school. Especially when we were teenagers,

she was the best and purest friend that you could imagine,

extremely empathetic, accepting loyal, attentive, and nurturing.
