Your book, your latest book is still full-time work in the meaning of life because we're expecting a new one

the new one won't be out for a year so we'll we'll hold off on that for a while i'll be writing it

over the next six months but it's a way still comes out when you write just writer's curiosity here

are you i knew a pediatrician who wrote like 15 books. I didn't know how he did it.

He told me that he drove... Real quick. Is a pediatrician, a foot doctor or a kid doctor?

I always get this mixed up.

A pediatric podiatrist is what you're looking for.

But he used to drive from South Orange County to teach at USC Medical Center. And during the drive, he had a tape, you know, there's a little tiny tape recorders people had in the 80s and 90s, and he would slip it into his suit pocket and just speak to his pocket. Then somebody would transcribe it, then he would edit the transcription, and that would be the chapter for that day. And he would write one chapter on every, like, two-hour commute.

Is this how you're doing it?

You're writing when you fly east-west?

No.

It's a little different process.

I do mentally organize thoughts a lot in flights and things like that.

And there have been books I've written where there's a thing

I fly out of when I'm flying out of L.A. called Private Suite where I don't ever have to go to

LAX. It's off campus. And then it's like a kind of little private place to hang out at and
