But he used to drive from South Orange County to teach at USC Medical Center. And during the drive, he had a tape, you know, there's a little tiny tape recorders people had in the 80s and 90s, and he would slip it into his suit pocket and just speak to his pocket. Then somebody would transcribe it, then he would edit the transcription, and that would be the chapter for that day. And he would write one chapter on every, like, two-hour commute.
