In fact, Matt was one of my early clients, to be honest, way back when as a web builder, and I built one of Matt's early websites.

And here we are fast forward maybe 10 years from then.

And Matt is now co-founder of SPI Media.

SPI Media is a new creation over at Smart Passive Income.

Matt is co-founder along with Pat Flynn, and we'll get into all

of that because there are some interesting dynamics there. We'll find out how Matt got involved

at SPI. And with that, we're also going to talk about their new product, their new community

called SPI Pro. We'll compare notes with Fizzle and talk all about building communities. So with that,

Yeah, it had been a while since we caught up, and a lot has happened for you, so I'm excited to

catch up on that. Here we are both in front of a drab-looking brown walls. I don't know what that's all about.

But where are you in the world right now?

I am technically in my basement.

I like being down here for recording because this is actually soundproof wall to just make

everything all the more crisp when we do a lot of this stuff for online consumption.

So it's nice.

It sounds good.

And I mentioned that it had been a while since we caught up. You know, you built your own website and then you ended up founding a company called Winning Edits, which was involved in a lot of things, but basically a creative agency where you help people do all kinds of stuff. Connect the dots for me between winning edits and being the co-founder of SPI Media.
