| 0:00.0 | what's up guys so today on the podcast we have dell from charlotte's web they are a cbd manufacturer and a lot of you guys have sent me messages because a lot of you guys know that i take CBD and a lot of you guys ask me all the time like which one are you taking you know and and which one's working for you and um you know it's something that i i'm pretty reluctant to share with people because again like unless it's really working for me and i have time to sort of fill it out, I don't share it with my students. And just like I've talked about before, any of you guys that follow me on YouTube or you listen to the podcast or anything, I consider you guys kind of an extension of that. And so I've definitely taken my time with it. But he's on the podcast today with us and he is going to, you know, sort of talk about the ins and outs of CBD, about, you know, different manufacturing processes and a lot about how it works. And I thought it was really, you know, educational because, again, this stuff's been working great for me. And I figured that for any of you that are interested, it would be really informational for you. So this way you get some, you know, educational what it is, find out how it works. And then this way you can make a better educated decision on whether to use it and which brand you use. So with that say, guys, let's jump right into it. So you grew up in Colorado. And because, you know, here in the South, obviously, we're kind of, like Louisville and Kentucky is kind of like the South, kind of not, but we have like a lot of the carryover from like the South, you know, and |
| 1:13.9 | sure. |
| 1:14.6 | A lot of that is like, you know, that sort of southern, sort of religious-infused sort of ideology. |
| 1:20.3 | And a lot of times, like, you know, things like, say, marijuana, like they completely |
| 1:26.2 | bought all the silliness that was sold about. I mean, |
| 1:29.8 | because it is what it is. Like, you know, we were talking at the gym. Every, every culture has, |
| 1:35.3 | you know, these, these herbs and things like that inside of them, right? And then it's only been |
| 1:40.4 | the Western cultures, the modern Western culture that was like, we don't like this. So, you know, so we're going to put a stop to this stuff. But, you know, even when you look at like the reasons why they banned things like, you know, marijuana, for instance, it's just like they, even hemp, right? Like, they banned hemp for reasons of like, you know, from what I understand to, to make sure that it doesn't compete with like things like wood and lumber for paper production, everything else. Randolph Hurst. I mean, that was, that dude's fascinating. He, like, obviously he did this with THC and, or with hemp and everything else in marijuana, but I mean, that dude, him and a few other guys helped orchestrate like the Spanish-American war, you know, with his newspaper, just by like propaganda and stuff. So. So it's like, well, that dude, I mean, it is what it is. |
| 2:19.6 | He was really good at what he did. |
| 2:20.6 | But, you know, it's interesting that we still, like, there's so many people that it's starting to change now, but nobody really looked deeper into it. Right. You know what I mean? people watched like back in the day they watched reefer madness and they thought this stuff |
| 2:16.3 | was crazy and then they're like oh no we no, we can't do this, you know? |
| 2:36.3 | And have you seen Reifer Madness? |
| 2:38.0 | I have not. |
| 2:38.8 | I'm very familiar, but I, you know, I don't need to see. It's hilarious. Yeah, I bet. It's so funny. I bet. Yeah, like, yeah, like, how do you go about changing those, like, mindsets? |
| 2:33.9 | Like, because it's fear. |
| 2:34.6 | It's all fear mongering. |
| 2:35.9 | It's all fear-based thinking and, like, how do you go about changing those like mindsets? Because it's fear. It's all fear mongering. It's all fear-based thinking. And like, you know, it has a place. It has an effect. And like people don't want to go into that little dark cave because it's scary. You know, you don't want to go into, I guess, fighting. It's uncomfortable. Yeah, but you got to think this right here, this podcast, right? |
| 3:08.6 | Just the way technology has advanced is what's changing things. |
| 3:12.3 | The access to information is it's way more difficult to hold people down because I could |
| 3:20.3 | Google anything I want or I could listen to a podcast that's going to just open my eyes or something else. So the information, back then, you know, you didn't have the information as quickly as possible and now it's just this is why it's changing. Right. Well, in the information sources, right? Like say the newspaper and things like that, you just trade, I thought they were telling you the truth, right? Oh, sure. And now you're like, no, not. And so now people can like, |
| 3:42.2 | hey, |
| 3:42.6 | I don't really dig that idea. |
