Well, hey, everybody. It is Melanie Mitro, the host of the Melanie Mitro show. And I'm excited because I am

starting a brand new series on the podcast. And the series is about the mentorship mindset and how

leaders build leaders. And I know that many of you who listen in, this is something you want to know.

You want to sit down across the table

from other people who are building in the direct sales space and you want to learn from them.

And so I decided to pull some of the leaders on my team. First, I'm going to start there.

And the people that I know the most that are having the most success in the industry right now

and just have an honest conversation

about what it's like to build a direct sales business in 2026. And so today I'm bringing in

one of my top leaders, Jamie Innes. She's a senior master coordinator. And we actually met each other. Gosh, I don't know.

It's been a while now, right? It's been a couple of years. I don't know, would you say four,

four years now? Maybe around there. Our husbands actually connected us to one another and kept

saying you two would be fast friends. And I think both of us were like, yeah, sure, whatever.

And then all of a sudden we were together for a wedding weekend. And we were like, yes, they were

right. We should have hung out a long time ago. But the two of us developed a great friendship,

but we also had a connection in our previous company and really grew successful businesses there.

And the one thing about Jamie that I've always admired is like her positive energy,

her leadership skills and our ability to just have sort of this lens of, okay, let's be

solution oriented.

How do we lead through it and just not
