Hey, everybody. Welcome to you were born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo and Mary Guilfoyle.

We're a couple of missionaries at Acts 29. This is the podcast where we talk about how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope.

God who created and rescued this world and calls you and me to be agents of transformation and recreation. Mary Christ has risen.

He is risen indeed. He is risen indeed. We're still in Easter, right? We're out of the octave,

but we're still in the Easter season. And thanks be to God for 50 days to celebrate. And my goodness,

if I'm celebrating a Michigan national championship and basketball, then can you imagine how we're supposed to be celebrating the fact that death has been conquered

and Jesus is alive?

I just don't think we know how to do this.

Wouldn't it be something if we live like that?

Wouldn't that be something else?

Our world would be forever changed.

I'm reminded again and again, I know how to, I know how to be sad, to grieve and

to be disappointed more than I know how to celebrate.

Like, I, I pray that all the time.

Like, Lord, I don't know how to celebrate other than the way the world does for things,

and that's just pretty pathetic,

that's one of the things that the church is trying to teach us and giving us this season of 50

days to just explore ever more deeply.

What it is that Jesus has accomplished for us?

You know, maybe that's just a great way to pray, Father John, in this season.

So, Lord, teach me to live a joy-filled life, visibly joy-filled. Yeah. Teach me to lean into the excitement that the season brings. I mean, the spirit can teach us how to pray like that. So that's a deficit. That's a need. I think that's a universal situation. So maybe we just ask the spirit to teach us how it is we can celebrate this great season that we're in.

I'll pray that way once you tell us what the title of this episode is.
