We're a couple of missionaries at Acts 29. And this is the podcast where we talk about how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope.

And the God who created and rescued this world and calls you and me to be agents of transformation and recreation.

Mary, I could use a little recreation right now.

I don't know about you.

I am utterly exhausted.

I told you, I think I slept all of an hour and a half last night.

So we've been sucking helium for the last 30 minutes to try to have some animation in our lungs

and our voices because, yeah, for whatever reason, we're all really tired around here.

And yet that just seems really apropos, given the gospel encounter that we're going to be

talking about because we're going to be talking about a couple of people who are really tired,

both physically and

emotionally and also spiritually. So what's our topic for this episode?

A word for discouraged disciples. I'm sure there are zero discouraged disciples listening right now.

Everything is perfect in the world, in the country, in the church, in our parishes,

in our families, in our own personal lives.

So why would we possibly need a word for discouraged disciples?

Oh, come Holy Spirit.

The name is the Father of the Son, the Holy Spirit.

Gracious Father, we just ask that the Easter graces would continue to overflow into us.

We prayed in the Mass that we would be overcome with Pascal Joy.

So we ask for that to happen right now.
