Father, we do give you great praise and thanks for these extraordinary days that we've entered into, this time to linger with and celebrate all that Jesus has accomplished for us and

his passion, his death, and his glorious resurrection from the dead,

whereby death and sin have been defeated, though not yet destroyed,

and the one who is the strong man and our enemy has been bound, though not yet destroyed.

So we ask that you would fill us in these days with joy, with hope,
