Hey, everybody. Welcome to you. We're born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo and Mary

Guilfoyle. We are a couple of missionaries at Acts 29, and this is the podcast, when we talk about

how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope in the God who created and rescued this world

and calls you and me to be agents of transformation and recreation.

And Mary, it is really nice to be recording in our own studio after several weeks away.

I'll say, and my body's just now, I have a long way to go to adjust to the eastern time zone.

I'm struggling a little bit today, if I'm honest.

By God's grace, we had an opportunity to be with our brothers out in the western part of the country. And yeah, we're three hours time doing difference back here. So this morning was very early. Well, I'm looking at your eyes right now, and I think your eyes look about as bad as mine do. Oh, no. I'm glad this is just a podcast and not a video cast then. No, but it was glorious. It was glorious to be on mission. It was glorious to be about God's work, and it's just beautiful. It's always great to come home. Amen. And super excited about what we're going to begin today. We're going to start a series, which will explain a little bit more, that will help us go all the way through Lent. But why don't you tell us what the episode title is today? I love to, Father John. What does Jesus want to say to us? Last week was, what do people say about us, or what do others say about us now is what does Jesus want to say to us

and if you're anything like me I'm kind of bracing for that I think there's probably some

encouragement and I know there is some exhortation and gentle rebuke yeah so let's pray shall we

God is good the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit amen

Gracious Father, we do thank you for this opportunity we have right now to break open your word and especially to linger with what it is that we're going to linger on over these next

number of weeks.

We just ask for the grace to be attentive to however Jesus wants to speak to us by the power of his

spirit who lives within us. Help us to both hear him in his encouragement and to hear him

in his exhortation and rebuke. Help us to remember that you are love and that everything you do and say is a manifestation

of that love for our good and well-being and for the good of this world which you so love.

So bless our conversation now. May it be a source of encouragement, particularly to those who
