We are a couple of missionaries at Acts 29, and this is the podcast where we talk about

how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope and the God who created and rescued

this world in order that we can be agents of transformation and

recreation. Mary, I don't have any party favors here, but happy New Year.

We don't have any blowers here at our podcast video. No blowers or streamers or anything, but

isn't it incredible? It's 2026. Happy New Year. You know, Father John, I'm thinking about the first

check that I write. Yes, I still write checks every now and again.

But writing a check and making sure I get the new year right,

2026 sounds like unbelievably futuristic to me.

Something from Blade Runner, I know, back in the 80s.

I know.

But happy new year, new calendar year.

New calendar year.

Time for resolutions.

And that's what we're going to be talking about

on this inaugural episode of 26. What's our topic? Yeah, a resolution that will change the world.

We thank you just for the way in which something as simple as opening a new calendar

or turning a page allows us to emotionally and spiritually and physically turn a page in our lives and begin all over again.

We just thank you for the year that has recently concluded.
