Last time we examined the interesting tale of the only apostle to survive being sent from Munster

to convert the wider world to Anabaptism.

While the schoolmaster, Henry Graus, didn't manage to convert anyone, he did manage to be saved by an angel.

Actually, he wasn't saved by an angel.

He was saved by the bishop Prince, who released him from

Eborg Prison and deposited him back outside the gates of Munster in return for a promise that

Henry would be the Bishop Prince's man inside Munster, spying on the activities of King Yarn and rendering any other assistance which might

be ordered by the Bishop Prince. One of the reasons why the Bishop Prince sent Henry

Graus back to Munster was the fact that he was getting a little desperate and was running out of options to defeat the city.

As we mentioned at the end of the last episode, the citizens of Munster were giving no indication of

being starved into submission. On the contrary, they had just held a feast for all of their

residents, while the Bishop Prince was just about out of funds, funds he needed to pay the soldiers
